Garçon du fleuriste, Le

1987, 42:00 minutes, colour, French

TAPECODE 9207.01

This work is an unrestrained series of playlets, a joyous romp through a gallery of living portraits where fictions intermix. In one scene, a young girl demonstrates how her washer works. In another, an artist, alone in his darkroom, reveals the difficulty of creating. And let's not forget some incredible encounters, barbecue suppers, Paris, interior design, parts of sentimental songs, Virginia Woolf's literary voice, a drum solo, and secrets...
Poetic scenes feature the florist's son who, as a man, is shown sleeping, walking in the street, taking a bath, and getting hit on the head by flowers and paper.
