Equidistant Relationships (two channels, EDR-A, EDR-B) Part A

Tom Sherman

1989, 62:00 minutes, colour, English

TAPECODE 366.12

This video work is based on a narrative concerning the way mediated experience (TV, radio, etc.) affects our relationship with the natural world. The work can be thought of as an 'essay' constructed in video and audio. While the whole program (in stereo video) runs 62 minutes, it is structured to be viewed at the audience's convenience in parts -- 15-20 minutes of viewing of any section of the program will provide the viewer with information sufficient to compose one's own thoughts on the subject at hand.
