A poignant, sensitive self-description emerges in two interview sessions with Rebecca Long, shot a year apart. Speaking of her alcoholism, of time spent in a blackout fog unaware of most of her actions, she becomes increasingly aware of her problem and the reasons for it. Rebecca shows us her sense of art, world, and self, and describes parts of a miserable childhood with a warmth and a lively intelligence that discloses the soul of a survivor.
