Over Our Dead Bodies

This is an engaging documentary look at lesbian /gay activism, with interviews from members of ACT-UP, Queer Nation and Outrage. It starts with the beginnings of ACT-UP in New York, which originated in anger and frustration with politician's and medical institutions' inadequate response to the AIDS epidemic, and led to the birth of Queer Nation in San Francisco and Outrage in Great Britain. This important film makes clear the strong need for queer everywhere, and shows just how much can be accomplished when anger and grief are used with positive expression.
