Faced with having to write a final report for a project on women's health, a group of women from Lower Prospect, Nova Scotia decide to make a video rather than fighting with their typewriter. Having identified stress as one of their major health problems, the group decides that a karaoke party would be the ideal situation for filming the "final report". The women learn how to use the video cameras, and interview each other about the project between verses of hurting country songs.
