A look inside a Toronto ‘special diet’ subsidy clinic. On May 12, 2005, as part of their "Raise the Rates" campaign, the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty organizes an impromptu clinic to provide scandalously underfunded welfare and disability recipients with the little-known $250 'diet supplement'. Moving beyond images of protest and confrontation, this interview-free documentary depicts some of the more complex and challenging details of organizing poor people under a repressive bureaucracy.
