Salty and Sweet is a video work that explores the ambivalent relationship between a mother and daughter and achieves an intimate and confessional tone through the use of text on screen and voice-over. The work moves through the girl's recollections of the claustrophobic domestic spaces of childhood, and concludes with a meditation on the impossibility of memory and representation.
