The Redux video series is based on The Art of Autobiography and delves more deeply into the nuanced truths that could not be readily conveyed within the traditional form of documentary.
This experimental video treatise sketches ideas that do not conform to documentary conventions. Redux I considers the perils and epiphanies of figurative and literal reflection.
Redux II conjures reverie induced by the soporific sounds of television static. It wanders the seemingly benign path childlike discovery of “grown-up” truths of origin. The Redux series is intended to deepen the reading of The Art of Autobiography and consideration of the socio-cultural phenomenon of adoption.
