The artist has woven his fascination with North America and the ethnic culture of Vancouver's Chinatown into a narrative based on exotic and beautifully calculated images. After the initial "hook" of the storyline and sensual visuals, the artist confronts the viewer with obvious references to the text of Kierkegaard's Either/Or. The tape addresses the nature of erotic images and illusion.
