Commissioned by Itau Cultural Institute, this video by Kika Nicolela draws inspiration from rituals and celebrations of Candomble (African-Brazilian religion). These rituals involve the possession of the initiated by Orishas (gods); music and dance are essential to induce the trance that allows the god to enter the possessed body.
