X (۱۰) Short Cuts
2004, 08:38 minutes, colour, English
This video (read “Ten Short Cuts”) marks the passage of time in relation to the passage of knowledge. The video is structured on the divisions and edits of a current edition of an ancient philosophical text. Duration and activity are used as an analogy for the transmission of texts through historical and geographical paths. Meanwhile, X (۱۰) Short Cuts, explores the ritualization of repeated actions.
