Raven Mad is Randy & Berenicci’s ecology tape. From the wings of a raven we tour the majestic coastal region of the Pacific Northwest of British Columbia, Canada. Rainforests are strip logged and slash burned. Wilderness is imprisoned in a manicured theme park surrounded by a chain-link fence. Coastal islands are seen through a wall of flames. An ongoing history of cultural genocide is evidenced in the label of Raven Red, a cheap local fortified wine that appropriates totem poles and longhouses to target the native population. A damnation of the destruction of nature. An exposé of the rape of paradise. An appropriation of an appropriation.
