the good ‘ol come forth serves as documentation of Lisa Lipton’s permanent installation at the elsewhere artist collective & the performative event which existed one evening in Greensboro, NC in the sweltering summer of 2007. the good ‘ol come forth attempts to honour, as well as conjures the spirit of a local folk singer – Rebecca King Jones – who mysteriously disappeared from her cabin within a small settlement in Durham, North Carolina in 1951.
