Current Details is an ongoing series of silent media studies, begun in 2003. Text and performed elements abstract and resituate video material, in much the same way that compositions are developed from drawings in a sketchbook, inventing new focal points and constructing secondary elements. Each time the work is shown, a new study is added to the work, building over time into, as Peacock says, “a time mural with no focal point, whose edges I can’t see.”
