The Work of Art asks, how are personal ideas, images, opinions, and values constructed and by whom? How is power distributed in everyday living? What is personal history, what is public history and where do they intersect?

During the G20 demonstrations, we congregated at Greenpeace offices, were given green hard hats and green banners to wave during the demonstration. The G20 march as we experienced it in June 2010 was peaceful until we arrived in front of the American Embassy where police, in full riot gear with guns and assault weapons at their side, stood on guard.
The Work of Art is not specifically about the G20 though the G20 demonstrations were a starting point to ask the important questions this video attempts to raise.
