DRIP

DRIP is a contemporary extension of the tradition of 1970's body art; where, in their studios video artist recorded body movement, experimentation, and manipulation.

Three distinct act(ion)s of a hand move slowly into and out of frame. Set against a black background, the hand is 'stage-lit'. Formatted like a 3-act play: performing for the camera the hand clenches into a fist dripping blood, relaxes, contorts and draws.

Politicized by the viewers 'read':
DRIP is a sexual metaphor?
DRIP is a representation of violence?
DRIP is a call to activism?
DRIP is a symbol of struggle?
