Boundaries is a video installation that addresses the construction and reconstruction of identity through the performance of otherness. Starting from the lived experience and perspective of two Latina women living in Canada the piece plays with larger notions of authenticity in the social space. We push each other, pull each other, carry each other, struggle and get exhausted; we keep going despite all of this revealing our internal identity shifts through collaborative actions.
