"A compelling artistic collaboration...a synergistic hybrid of interactive film and live musical performance." - David DeRocco, GoBe Weekly
This compilation includes documents of two major music-film collaborations by Jonathan Culp - the 2009 8 Fest presentation “Red Shift” (in collaboration with Picastro), and “A New Place To Dwell,” a multiscreen, interactive loop performance with Toronto band Several Futures. The program is rounded out with a baker’s dozen of creative and unpredictable rock videos, many showcasing Culp's signature collage technique.
