A poetic essay on the relationships we have with objects and how we decipher significance from the noise. The work explores how different means of communication affect our understanding of the signal-to-noise ratio and influence our process of sense-making.

The video investigates objects as transmitters of information judged by the ratio of information to the noise within and around it. How do we distinguish material or other significance from the rest of the noise?

The answer seems to be somewhere between the words, floating in the air, teasing with its light-hearted simplicity but escaping as soon as the words are chosen for any description.
