Liz Knox

Liz Knox is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Toronto. Her body of work joins the conversation of identity construction, with an interest in objects and how objects relate to personal identity. Her video works often reference and relate to the rich history of video art, recontextualizing themes and tropes used commonly in the 70's. Knox graduated from the University of Guelph in 2006, recent exhibitions include York Quay Gallery, Harbourfront Centre, Nuit Blanche (Toronto), Vtape and the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery as well as other Canadian, American and European spaces and film festivals.
