Steven Eastwood

Steven Eastwood’s films span artists' moving image, documentary and fiction. He has screened and exhibited internationally to acclaim. He recently completed his first feature, Buried Land (in collaboration
with Alan Rhodes, HD. 81:00. 2010), official selection Tribeca and Moscow Film Film Festivals 2010. He formed the production company Paradogs in 1997 and his documentary Those Who Are Jesus (2001) was
nominated for a Grierson Award at BAFTA. Eastwood gained a theory-practice PhD through UCL, The Slade in 2007 and is currently Programme Leader in Film & Video at the University of East London, UK.
He co-founded the arts laboratory event OMSK in the 1990s.
