Sarah Vermette has her BFA in Film & Video from York University and her Masters in Professional Writing (screenwriting) from University of Southern California.

She has written, produced and directed three grant funded short films. Through exploring different genres and topics she has found an extreme love of mixing art forms. She works when opportunity allows as a script analyst.

Her short films and scripts have been to festivals such as ImagineNative, Wildsound and Beverly Hills Film Festival. Her feature script, The Brighter Days, a story about familial abuse, placed in the top 10% of the Nicholl Fellowship.
