Genady Gavleshov was born January 13 1954 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Graduated in Computer Science in Haifa, Israel in 1986 and working in IT since then.

Received dance education at Yaron Margolin dance school in Jerusalem, Israel; years 1994 - 1999.

Since 1999 lives in Canada.

Joined the University of Toronto students dance group “The Only Human Dance Collective” and created 10 choreographic works in years 2001-2010.

From 2010 acting in two theatres: Shadowland Theatre and Friendly Spike Theatre in Toronto. Participated in three theatre productions with each theatre during these years.

In 2012 made his first video “Transitions” as a part of Queer Video Mentorship Project for Inside-Out Toronto LGBTQ film festival and received “The Best Up and Coming Toronto Filmmaker” award for it.
