Sarah Schulman

Sarah Schulman is the author of 17 books, most recently THE GENTRIFICATION OF THE MIND : Witness to a Lost Imagination (U of Cal Press), TIES THAT BIND: Familial Homophobia and Its Consequences (The New Press) and the novel, THE MERE FUTURE (Arsenal Pulp Press.) She is co-founder, with Jim Hubbard of the ACT UP Oral History Project (ww.actuporalhistory.org) and MIX: NY LGBT Experimental Film and Video Festival, now in its 25th season. Sarah is a Distinguished Professor of the Humanities at the City University of New York, College of Staten Island.
