Erik Boomer is a professional image-maker and extreme white water kayaker. Dovetailing his love of adventure with his photography, he excels in outdoor photography. A finalist in the 2010 Red Bull Illume Photo Contest, his photography has among others, been published in The New York Times and Outside magazine. Boomer has also focused on several social photography projects. He spent a Christmas embedded as a homeless person on the streets in Washington DC, and spent time photographing life in the largest oil boomtown in the USA.
Erik Boomer is also a sponsored athlete, extreme kayaker, and has complete multi-month expedition in the arctic.
