River-Jordan Allick is a multi-media artist, who is currently focused on documentary film and creative writing that sheds light on and gives a voice to disadvantaged and oppressed communities. River-Jordan wants to use art as a medium to denormalizing stigma and discrimination in Canada. River-Jordan Allick identifies as a queer black woman with mental disabilities, and has combined a passion for media, art, and entertainment to bring the issues of marginalized communities into the collective consciousness of her community.
