Jean Carlomusto

Jean Carlomusto is a media activist. For the past 5 years she has been the coordinator of video production at Gay Men's Health Crisis. She is a founding member of DIVA TV: an affiniity group of ACTUP creating media about the AIDS activist movement. She was a member of the Testing The Limits Collective. She is also a member of Fierce Pussy, a group of Lesbians producing materials designed to fight Lesbian invisibility. She has recently completed "L is for the way you look", a video tape which explores the many different ways lesbians seek to preserve meaningful images and events. Currently she is working with Delores Perez, Catherine Saalfield and Polly Thistlethwaite on a videotape about lesbian herstory entitled "Not Just Passing Through".
