Dan Lander, an editor, curator and sound artist, studied art at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax. Based in Toronto, he was the producer of the radio art program The Problem with Language (CKLN, Toronto) from 1987 to 1991. In addition he is co-editor of two anthologies on artists' involvement with sound: Sound by Artists (1990) and Radio Rethink: Art, Sound and Transmission (1994). His compositions for radio and loudspeaker have been aired internationally and can be heard on various CD publications.
