My work is a collision between practical strategies for surviving the city, [a subjective phenomenological approach] and a sort of hopeless and insatiable longing for the romantic sublime in nature...or whatever is not the city. Video is the medium I most often use in exploring the notions of fantasy, escapism and absurdity in inevitably failed and partial attempts to get to grips with living in the inner city.
