Canadian Art: 20 Years - A Look Back and Ahead: Artist-Run Spaces
Canadian Art, Sept. Fall 2004, v. 21, no. 3, p. 49
A small article about the value and nature of artist-run centres, using an example of a few galleries who, in 1984, screened Paul Wong's Confused: Sexual Views after the Vancouver Art Gallery refused to. Talks about how now the definition of an artist-run centre is still vague, as the boundaries of art and the mainstream continue to expand.
