Introducing Exodus: A Movement of Jah people ...in Luton

by Jim Carey

Squall, 1995

A Collective called the Exodus is born out of the formulaic, commercial city centre of Arndale. It began with the discovery of a set of unused speakers in a Luton garage. The speakers were fixed up and then taken to a nearby forest where the first Exodus party drew a couple of ˙hundred people. Three years later the party continues and draws upwards of 6000 visitors.
