Review of Karen Hoeberg's mixed-media installation, Life Zones, which was augmented by performances by four other female artists in a series called From the Foot of the Tree: Four Voices. Life Zones explores physical geography and the connection between women and nature through an installation of "memory scrolls" - long rolls of canvas rubbed with different coloured soils, which envelope the inside of the gallery.
