by Lynn Mitges

The Province, Oct. 2 Fall, p. 1

This article reports on the art exhibition WHACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution. Curator Connie Butler says that motivated to create the show because in her view feminist art has been overlooked for a long time. When displayed the work was separated into 18 different units based on genre. Its work ranged from mediums such as painting, sculpture, multimedia installations and performance.
