Last Call for the Ithaca Video Festival

Afterimage, Feb. 1984, v. 11, no. 7, p. 4

The nine-year-old Ithaca Video Festival has entered a funding crisis and may be forced to end the event. The circulating festival has grown to 22 tapes from an initial exhibition of eight, but has never turned a profit. It is currently undertaking commercial video work to support itself, but has had to give up its offices. In the last two years, its funding has been significantly reduced and the NYSCA has delayed action on its most recent funding proposal.
