Exhibition catalogue for a show of the work of West German artists Michael Buthe and Marcel Odenbach held at the Walter Phillips Gallery, at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta, 1983. The curator notes in the included essay that the artists' work, while differing in style, share many similarities in content. Both artists are in pursuit of a new or alternative identity in West German post-war society.
