State of the Art (World): The 2012 Reel Artists Film Festival

This article discusses some of the films screened at Toronto's Reel Artists Film Festival in 2012. including Gerard Richter Painting, Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present, The Rage of Images and Portrait of Resistance. Each of these films documents artists as they work. Particular attention is paid to Portrait of Resistance, which looks at the work of Carol Condé and Karl Beveridge, including the art they created in response to the G20 in Toronto 2010.
