Antwerp Diary: "Intertidal: Vancouver Art & Artists" hits Europe with a Toronto critic in tow
Canadian Art, Summer 2006, v. 23, no. 2, pp. 54-58
Toronto-based writer and artist, R.M. Vaughan, documents his four day adventure to Antwerp, Belgium, to review the exhibition, Intertidal. Vaughan describes his daily encounters in Antwerp, the relationship he creates with the curator, and his ever-longing attempt to see art, particularly Vancouver art, differently--even perhaps through "foreign" eyes.
