Queer Across Canada questions the mediation of lesbianism on TV by looking at the videomaker's experience of appearing on CBC's "Road Movies". Mediation becomes a metaphor for exploring the fluctuation of lesbian identity both on TV and while travelling across Canada. The lesbian self changes and shifts while travelling through different regions. Identity becomes strategic.
