Greetings From the Edge of the Cliff
1988, 11:45 minutes, colour, English
Blindness is examined as a social, not a physical, handicap. A man and three women, all blindfolded, try to perform various tasks on Bay St. (the financial district of Toronto). People on the street accept them as a normal phenomenon. Most don't even notice them. It seems everyone is blind on "money street". We follow the characters collecting, depositing, stealing and loosing their coins, aimlessly meandering among the bank towers, and finally, trapped in a revolving door, circling each other, seemingly forever.
