Jaws

Susan Harman

1992, 08:00 minutes, colour

TAPECODE 354.02

Following on the poem by Kirsten Emmott, Jaws is about the violence of men that has been suffered by womyn and about the violence that lurks constantly beneath the surface ... like sharks, circling, waiting.
Jaws is also an exploration in the presentation of information about violence against womyn. It attempts to deconstruct the boundaries of the documentary format and weave its way into an experimental form of visual art.
