Many of us will become immigrants - from other countries, from other neighborhoods or from other times - counting several "homes" throughout life. Interviews with a number of individuals involved with seven blocks of a street in Brooklyn reveal the ties that bind them to their homes and the character of these invisible links. Each story is placed in the reflection of our childhood experience of discovering and venturing beyond "home". Nursery rhymes, home movies and text point continously to the intense identifications of a child learning to orientate. The way in which we map boundaries in our childhood will always form how we function in the adult worlds we later journey through.
