Phyllis (Andrea Gunn) is a young, straight woman who has decided she wants to have a queer baby by artificial insemination. The breakthrough process which allows women to choose to have a queer baby is explained by the discoverers of the process, Dr. Sue (Carl Stewart) and Dr. Ann (Barbara Lougheed), two German scientists in the Centre for Queer Domination. But the choice isn't an easy one. Phyllis has to decide which type of queer she wants: a lipstick lesbian, an opera queen, a traditional pool-playing butch, and on and on. She calls in her lesbian friend Bess (Ali Biggs) and her gay friend Ted (Kevin Aaron Gibbs) for some advice. But even when the choice is made she still has to tell her boyfriend (Dave Gregory) and her parents (Gilbert Gignac, Darlene Gibbs).
