Extinct - But Going Home is a documentary about the struggle of the last surviving members of an Aboriginal tribe in the Northern Territory of Australia. They battled for almost 10 years to be recognized as traditional owners of their land on the banks of the Daly River in the north west of the Territory.

It's a story involving many aspects of Aboriginal culture, history, law, hunting, dreaming stories, the land claim process, the segregation policy for part-Aboriginals, land management and Aboriginal ties to their sacred land.

This is a very powerful story suitable for all ages and races, and is easily understood and studied. It will help all to understand more about Aboriginal people and the land claim process.
