Storytellers of the Pacific is a collection of compelling stories about the impact of colonization on these indigenous people: Australian Aborigine, Native Hawaiian, New Zealand Maori, Chamorros of Guam, Samoan, Alaska Aleut, Northwest Coast Indians, California Indians, Inuit of Canada. This two-part series is a unique collaboration among indigenous filmmakers from New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific, the United States, and Canada, who came together to share individual stories of cultural triumph with the rest of the world.
