1997, 06:39 minutes, colour/B&W, English

Kathy Acker talks about being 14, hanging out at the New York Filmmakers Cooperative with then boyfriend P. Adams Sitney, Jack Smith, Stan Brakhage etc... She speaks to the theft of language, narrative versus myth, digging herself out of hell. The interview was shot on Halloween night 1996.

The original forty-five minute interview is placed inside the video transfer of a three minute Super 8 film called School (1995) starring Miss Barbrafisçh as the Headmistress. Without any cutting - using only fast forward or rewind - Kathy Acker in School (1997) is six and a half minutes in total.
