Using found film and sound of a relative recorder before his death, Pass is a study on an old man's stories and the fragility of the media that temporarily hold them. Pass accentuates the differences between film, video, digital and analog sound to describe ways in which the man's circular narrative style and stories are sublimated and preserved.
