attachments is comprised of seven individual segments that are abstractly related, while the structure of the video sustains a certain arc, complete with grandiose conclusion. Avoiding any semblance of a linear narrative or progression, each segment journeys into a certain consciousness or attitude, invoking different moods and spatial experiences. Highly melodramatic and completely fabricated at times, these moods and spaces represent uncommon and exaggerated circumstances, which are only gradually revealed, forming a meta-observation of the topics covered. The title, attachments, refers to melodramatic addictions, or "attachments" to certain thoughts and patterns that can eventually cause certain forms of (mental) paralysis.
