When a young soldier named Coen (Joseph “Dega” Lazare) learns that a city is in ruins after being attacked by the alien threat only known as the Hetkas, it is his duty to bring them down. With the help of his friends Buck (Walter Scott) and Ashton (Brandi Meloche), Coen must locate the Hetka base and destroy it. But things get even more ugly when Coen learns that the Hetka’s next target is the wonderful Galaria City, where his parents live! Now, it’s a race against time to save the loving couple and the overcrowded Galaria City.
To The Rescue marks the first collaboration between Joseph “Dega” Lazare and Walter Scott. The two worked on this project for a grueling four weeks. That time was spent for painstakingly making all the miniature sets and characters which were all designed by Walter Scott to be used in the film.
