You Are Evil
2002, 05:55 minutes, colour, English
You Are Evil is Louis Taylor's second film. It rose out of his anger and despair at the path we've taken as a culture since the events of 9/11. It is a 6 minute, growl of vexation, a biting condemnation and a bitter indictment; an indictment that ironically comes full circle to skewer the accuser.
You Are Evil is a response to our collective complacency in a time of looming global strife and horror. Ultimately it is a film about personal responsibility when democracy has come to mean little beyond the right to consume and the freedom to shop.
You Are Evil was completed in December of 2002. It was shot on mini DV and runs 5 minutes 55 seconds. It was self-financed.
