While a collector is leaving the gallery with a new purchased video art piece, a company’s quality controller check out his satisfaction.
Mind Your Own Business reflects about the role played by a contemporary art gallery in a small provincial city and about the relationship of contemporary art and the general public. It is made by a research on the links of art world and advertisement using both the means of one and the other. MYOB is conceived as an advertising campaign of the gallery and the exhibition, and it is made up of several pieces: a commercial for the local TV channel, an advert for movie theatres in town, a rotating display and a promotional catalogue.
